課程概述

台灣是個老化快速的社會，老化的程度在亞洲僅次於日本。高齡醫學，特別是高齡健康照護日益受到重視。本課程旨在使臨床工作者熟悉高齡健康照護的各項議題、使非臨床工作者得見臨床高齡醫療的梗概。
Taiwan is a rapidly aging society only second to Japan in Asia. Geriatric Medicine, particularly Geriatric Preventive Medicine, is getting more and more important nowadays. This course aimed to help clinicians familiarize with various issues in Geriatric Preventive Medicine and to help non-clinicians get the basic principles of clinical Geriatric Medicine. 

課程目標
 熟悉高齡健康照護，並落實於臨床執業及日常公衛業務的推展。
Important issues in Geriatric Preventive Medicine and healthcare will be presented sequentially in this class, including: Successful aging and Geriatric Medicine; Age friendly hospital environment; Patient-clinician communication, health promotion and health education; Geriatric body stature and metabolic syndrome; Tobacco control; Geriatric prescription; Adult and geriatric immunization; Vitamin D deficiency; Preventive medicine, screening and comprehensive geriatric assessment; Geriatric syndrome and geriatric abuse; Frailty; Osteoporosis; Sarcopenia; Falls.
